Livery
We offer the highest standard of care and individual attention to all the horses on our yard. Our dedicated team of staff are fully qualified and live on site guaranteeing 24 hour care. Our stable barn is 30x20m with insulated roof and walls, it offers warmth in the winter with excellent ventilation ensuring it stays cool in the summer. Our large airy stables are built in oak with back windows, rubber mats and automatic waterers.
Training Facilities
Our arena is a 30mx60m with a state of the art surface from Martin Collins and a full set of training and competition showjumps. Including planks, poles, brightly coloured fillers, plastic easy to use wings, corner wing, blocks and barrels. We also have an Indoor Incline Treadmill from Surrey Treadmills, which is excellent for rehabilitation and fitness work. It offers several speed settings up to a working trot and is on an incline to improve fitness.
Turnout
Here at Field Farm Stud we have over 55 acres of newly fenced organic grazing, complete with well developed hedgerows and mature trees. Our on site tractor is used to constantly maintain the paddocks ensuring optimum grass cover all year round. We cut our own hayledge from the land to ensure we have the best quality organic forage for our horses all year.
We offer several livery packages as outlined below, and are happy to be flexible, and tailor to individual needs.
Full Livery
Full Livery is total care for your horse including all year turnout, mucking out, straw bedding, ad lib hay, grooming, exercise and tack cleaning. Ideal for competition riders wishing to base themselves at a professional yard with top class facilities and training, and for any discerning horse owner who wants to enjoy their horse in lovely quiet surroundings with the highest standard of care.
Hunting Livery
Full care of your hunter throughout the season. This can include hacking/exercising, bathing, clipping, plaiting, care before and after hunting.
Competition Livery
Full Livery with the addition of being schooled and competed by Robert Stevens.
Schooling Livery
Short term livery for your horse to work on a specific flat or jumping problem or for an intense period of general schooling. General basic schooling for youngsters/green horses. All 24 hour care and schooling from Robert. Places always available.
Student Livery
Students are welcome to bring their own horses. We currently have a vacancy for a working pupil to bring their own horse/s, live on-site and train. For more information please contact Becky on 01666 861 245
Rehabilitation Livery
24-hour care for all types of injury and the ensuing rehabilitation work. With the owners living on site and all our facilities we are equipped to deal with all type of injury and illness and can take the stress out of caring for a horse on box rest.
Broodmare Livery
We have 60-acres of turnout as well as a field shelter if necessary and can offer grass keep for pregnant broodmares and mares with foals at foot.
Grass Livery
Superb quality grass in large fields either turn out on their own, with friends next door, or in pairs that are happy together. There are plenty of trees & hedging for shelter, 24hr Supervision, and they are able to come in & out, if & when necessary. All horses are checked daily and extra hay is provided in the winter.
Overnight Stabling
Stabling is available overnight before and after events. Set in the heart of the eventing countryside with over 20 events in under an hour’s drive, including;
